As a resident with our fire district, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the unique experiences that the fire service has to offer under the guidance of our officers and experienced fire personnel. This program is a great way to immerse yourself in the culture of firefighting while gaining hands on experience. Residents live at station 1701, in the resident quarters. They are assigned a shift rotation and are trained to respond on emergencies while going to school in a fire or EMS related field. Residents receive up to $3000 per term of tuition assistance.
